EDC has been honored to work with Cox Health, Walmart and Sam's Club to help raise funds for the Children's Miracle Network for many years. The t-shirts that we designed, created, sold via e-commerce, warehoused and fulfilled are part of a fundraising effort at Sam's Club and Walmart that runs in conjunction with the June Walk/Run.
Through this campaign, staff wears the t-shirts while shoppers at Walmart and Sam’s Club are able to make donations while shopping in their stores. Shoppers can also donate on Walmart.com or through the app, and at grocery pick-up. CoxHealth funds the operating costs of the local CMN Hospitals office therefore 100% of donations and proceeds from this campaign help local children with medical needs.
CoxHealth Medical Mile and 5K is the longest held mile and 5k race in the Ozarks that 100% benefits CoxHealth Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and the families they serve right here in the Ozarks. This unique race continues to be a great opportunity for local communities to help children and families in need. MedMile is put on each year in conjunction with CoxHealth Fitness Centers in Springfield and continues to grow each year.
